The 5 Senses of Sandpearl Resort

Immerse yourself into the experiences of a stay at Sandpearl Resort through each of the five senses.

SEE

The white sand shores of the Gulf of Mexico, from the gulf-front guest rooms, the spa, two restaurants and our poolside tiki bar. Sandpearl Resort is located directly on pristine Clearwater Beach where views of the warm turquoise waters of the gulf are so grand they fade into the horizon. Gaze upon distant sailboats, slow rolling tides, fleeting strands of clouds and a magnificent gulf sunset every night of your stay. These sweeping views can be taken in from the privacy of your own guest room, while wading in the warm surf, or sipping a delicious cocktail poolside at sunset. Whether you’re taking in the fresh gulf coast air, or stirring from a relaxing seaside afternoon nap, the majestic skies that surround Sandpearl are an amenity unto themselves, offering an unforgettable visual atmosphere from morning until night.

HEAR

The gentle footsteps on sand as one of our helpful attendants gets you set up beachside with your own private umbrella. And if a comfortable beach chair under the shade of an umbrella isn’t your thing, there are many other ways guests can relax on our private beach.

Listen to the soft rustling of palm fronds in the sea breeze from inside your private cabana, where you can sip from a tall champagne mojito without fear it will be warmed too quickly by the sun. Want to rock away the stresses of the work week you’ve left behind? Schedule some downtime in one of our beachside hammocks, where the gulf breeze and chatter of shorebirds in the distance will lull you into the restorative relaxation you’ve been looking for.

FEEL

The soft grains of sand through your fingers when you participate in one of our seasonal sand sculpting sessions. Guests of all ages can learn how to create and conceptualize their own sand sculpture, from majestic 3D castles to more intricate pictorial pieces. The finer, angular grains of sand that front the Sandpearl Resort are ideal for sand sculpting. Learn basic techniques from hand packing to the “Volcano method” and how to use casting buckets.

SMELL

The aromatics, natural oils and specially crafted exfoliants at our 12,000-square-foot on-site spa. Schedule a massage, full-body treatment session, or a manicure and pedicure in one of seven private treatment rooms. Bring your partner along for much needed pampering in one of our two specially built rooms for couples. We’ll help you work out the kinks after a long flight before settling into your week of relaxation.

TASTE

The rich goat cheese and Meyer lemon fondue, fresh caught diver scallops with herb and truffle au vin blanc sauce, and succulent chilean sea bass with scampi butter at our on-site restaurant, Caretta on the Gulf, the only AAA Four-Diamond restaurant on Clearwater Beach. Pair it all with a selection of wines from our expansive cellar, or leave it to the experts and indulge in the chef’s dinner tasting menu complete with desert and wine pairings. Diners of all ages will appreciate the restaurant’s lavish onsite holiday brunch, which features a variety of showcase menu items featured by Carretta on the Gulf throughout the calendar year. The holiday brunch also features specialty entrees that are available all day long, among them prime rib with horseradish, asiago gnocchi and fresh roasted organic vegetables. There’s even a kids buffet with all their favorites: macaroni and cheese, pigs in a blanket and glazed carrots.
