Capacity: 1,225+ Guests
The Conference Center consists of the 10,800-square-foot Sagamore Ballroom, which is divisible into three sections. Additionally, the building also showcases three 920-square-foot meeting rooms across the hall as well as office space and storage, making us the ideal locale for hosting several meeting programs simultaneously. The outside lawn and terrace are adjacent to this building.
Capacity: 1,000 Guests
The largest facility of its kind at any resort in the Adirondack State Park, the 11,664-square-foot Event Center is a fully-functional exhibit hall that can host up to 100 10×10 exhibit booths. The Event Center is also large enough to host auto shows and designed to accommodate heavy equipment while providing easy access for set-ups and break-downs.
The Sagamore’s Historic Hotel features five meeting rooms, including the 2,520-square-foot Dollar Island Room, the 720-square-foot Diamond Island Room, and two executive boardrooms.
The Shelving Rock Terrace is a tented, climate-controlled venue with panoramic views of Lake George and a sweeping lakeside lawn area. An innovative setting for guests seeking an outdoor venue with indoor comforts, Shelving Rock Terrace offers an enchanting backdrop for banquets, cocktail parties and wedding receptions. For seated events, this venue hold 220 guests.
In addition to our indoor meeting facilities, The Sagamore Resort boasts over 20,000 square feet of breathtaking outdoor event space including the Lower Veranda Terrace, the Pool Deck West, the Mountain View Lawn, the Pavillion, Lakeview Lawn, and the newly-renovated Dollar Terrace and the Front Lawn – many showcasing views of Lake George or the majestic peaks of the Adirondacks.
The resort’s own 72-foot replica of a turn of the century motoring vessel, The Morgan, offers daily sightseeing cruises on Lake George and can also be reserved for private group dinner cruises for up to 80 guests. Fully heated and air-conditioned, the lower level is enclosed in glass allowing for panoramic views of the lake and mountains while the open air top deck is a perfect start and finish to any event.

Lend a Helping Hand with a Very Special Local Camp
Located a 30-minute drive from The Sagamore, Double H Ranch is a camp for children dealing with life-threatening illnesses. The goal? To enrich their lives with programming that gives them the chance to experience things they never thought they would. Ways to support this non-profit include corporate opportunities (fundraising, financial gifts, etc.) as well as on-site volunteer options with the Housekeeping and Facilities Departments on jobs like landscaping, painting, cabin preparation, and more.
Help Give a Child a Very Merry Christmas
Created more than 30 years ago, Operation Santa Claus is a local non-profit close to The Sagamore’s heart: We partner with them on their largest annual fundraiser, Operation Santa Gala, with 100% of the profits distributed directly to the organization. Their mission? Ensuring that our community children do not go without food, toys, and warmth over the holidays. Corporate volunteer opportunities include fundraising, collecting, purchasing, and distributing these much-needed goods to many families in need throughout our region.

Nature walks on and off Green Island – where The Sagamore sits overlooking Lake George – create an ambiance of peace and serenity to clear the mind of clutter and take in the beauty of the Adirondacks. On the island, the resort has its own walking path around the perimeter, running along the lakes. Off island, there are several beautiful areas including The Pinnacle Preserve with panoramic lake views and Amy’s Park with its forest walks and surplus of flora.

Help An Organization that Recycles Discarded Soaps
Clean the World is a non-profit organization that recycles discarded hotel soaps and hygiene products and distributes them to children and families in need as part of a larger effort to prevent hygiene-related illnesses and deaths. Groups can help assist in their mission by taking part in their Soap Saves Lives program, which provides everything needed to assemble the hygiene kits they distribute. Once completed, groups have the option of returning the kits back to Clean the World or dropping them off at a local charity, church, or homeless shelter.

Elevate Your Workout With Lake Views
A workout seems less of a slog when done in view of what’s been called “The Queen of American Lakes.” Join us in our lakeview fitness center for guided workout sessions for individuals and groups, featuring weights, rowing, treadmills, elliptical, Peloton, and yoga classes. Private group classes held outside on our rolling green lawn are also available.
Get Salted at the Opal Spa
Halotherapy – the process of breathing in a dry salt aerosol within a closed-off room – touts a range of benefits, primarily the cleaning out of your respiratory system and opening of your airways. Individuals and groups of up to six can try out this trending therapy at the Opal Spa at The Sagamore Resort in the on-site Salt & Sound Lounge. All you have to do is sit back in a heated lounger in the meditative space – lined with walls of beautifully illuminated, hand-carved pink Himalayan salt blocks – and breathe. Don’t be surprised if you slip into slumber.
