Lake Placid Lodge offers intimate settings for marking milestone anniversaries, baby showers, holiday parties, and many more celebrations. Host a special dinner in our intimate Wine Cellar, or gather friends in a room overlooking the lake for a baby or bridal shower. During the holidays, decorations and snow transform the lodge into a scene that could be from a Christmas movie, the perfect backdrop for a celebratory gathering.

Celebrate a bachelor or bachelorette party, or bring together family for an intimate reunion in the most idyllic setting imaginable. Booking a group of lakeside cabins for your friends will bring summer camp memories to the present when you fill your days with outdoor activities and your nights with long, leisurely wine-filled dinners and a s’mores nightcap. Or take over the Lakeside Building with your extended family, where the Lakeside Suites comfortably accommodate up to four guests. Our events reservation concierge will work with you to customize the perfect itinerary for your small group gathering.

Enchanted Forest Room

Capacity: 60 seated guests.

Surrounded by tree saplings and paintings that once served as the backdrop for A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Broadway, your guests will truly be transported to an enchanted forest for the night when hosting your gathering in this space.

Baby Bootlegger

Capacity: 30 seated guests.

Furnished with a vintage painting of a famous boat and a stunning rowboat chandelier, this unique setting can comfortably host an intimate dinner for a small gathering such as a family reunion. An adjacent veranda accommodates an outdoor cocktail hour.

Wine Cellar

Capacity: 14 seated guests.

With its vaulted ceilings, rustic elegant decor and unique table, which is made from what was once the immense front door of a Mexican church, the Wine Cellar is designed to surprise and delight the most discerning of guests.

Lodge Dock

Capacity: 78 seated guests.

Though many of Lake Placid Lodge’s gathering spaces offer stunning views of the lake, only one allows guests to dine and celebrate on Lake Placid. The Lodge Dock sits atop the pristine waters of the lake, and it’s the ideal setting for casual meals such as a barbecue.

Adirondack Room

Capacity: 72 seated guests.

The largest event space available at Lake Placid Lodge, the Adirondack Room evokes the magic of the forest with its green carpet, tree trunk columns and intricate stonework. The adjacent terrace, flanked by two massive stone fireplaces, can also accommodate groups of up to 60.

Artisans

The property’s intimate farm-to-table restaurant, Artisans, is available to host small groups in one of its many intimate alcoves. Our experienced staff will work with you to plan the perfect menu for your group, utilizing produce and ingredients from some of the region’s finest producers.

Maggie’s Pub

For a casual gathering or after-party, Maggie’s Pub offers a welcoming, convivial atmosphere. Talk long into the night over handcrafted cocktails next to a roaring fire, or challenge your group to a rousing game of billiards.
